Description

Seachem Cichlid Lake Salt

Seachem Cichlid Lake Salt is a specially formulated blend of salts designed to replicate the natural mineral environment of African cichlid lakes. It provides essential elements including magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium, along with important trace components such as iron, aluminium and iodide.

The balanced formulation helps recreate the mineral conditions found in the natural habitats of cichlids from Lake Tanganyika, Lake Malawi and Lake Victoria, making it an ideal addition to freshwater cichlid aquariums.

Key Benefits

  • Helps replicate the natural mineral environment of African cichlid lakes
  • Contains essential elements including magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium
  • Includes trace elements such as iron, aluminium and iodide
  • Suitable for Tanganyika, Malawi and Victoria cichlid aquariums
  • Free from unnecessary or potentially harmful ingredients including nitrates, phosphates, arsenic, lithium and cadmium
  • Helps provide appropriate mineral conditions for healthy cichlids
  • Available in 250g size

Directions

All doses are based on 40 litres (10 US gallons) of aquarium water:

  • Lake Tanganyika: 11g (approximately 1½ teaspoons)
  • Lake Malawi: 5.5g (approximately ¾ teaspoon)
  • Lake Victoria: 3.6g (approximately ½ teaspoon)

For best results, use Seachem Cichlid Lake Salt when setting up or performing water changes on your cichlid aquarium.
