Description

Seachem Brackish Salt 300g

Seachem Brackish Salt is a specially formulated blend of salts designed to recreate the natural environment of livebearers and other brackish-water fish. It is ideal for fish such as guppies, swordtails, platies and mollies, while also being suitable for planted aquariums when used at the recommended dosage. Unlike traditional sodium chloride-based aquarium salts, Brackish Salt provides a broader range of minerals and nutrients without adversely affecting aquatic plants. It also does not alter pH or provide buffering.

Key Features

  • Designed for livebearers and brackish-water fish
  • Suitable for guppies, swordtails, platies and mollies
  • Safe for planted aquariums when used as directed
  • Provides essential minerals and nutrients
  • Suitable for freshwater and brackish community aquariums
  • Does not affect pH or provide buffering
  • Useful during aquarium setup and water changes
  • 300g tub

Directions for Use

For livebearers, use 20g (approximately 1 tablespoon) per 40 litres (10 US gallons) of aquarium water.

When adding to an established aquarium, add the salt gradually and preferably dissolve it in freshwater before adding. Do not use salt when simply replacing evaporated water.

For general aquarium salt use, including mineral replacement or disease control, use 20g (approximately 1 tablespoon) per 40 litres.
