NT Labs Koi Care Malachite is a powerful anti-fungal treatment for koi ponds, formulated to help treat fungal infections caused by Saprolegnia. Suitable for maintaining the health of koi and supporting a clean, healthy pond environment when used as directed.

The 500ml bottle treats up to 40,000 litres of pond water, making it a practical treatment for larger koi ponds.

How to Use

Before treatment, check your pond water parameters, including ammonia, nitrite and pH, and ensure the water quality is suitable.

For best results:

  • Remove absorbent filter media, such as carbon or phosphate removers, before treatment, as these can remove some or all of the medication from the water.
  • Turn off UV filtration, if fitted, until the medication colour has disappeared from the water.
  • Increase aeration throughout the treatment period.
  • Do not use if the water temperature is above 30°C.
  • Avoid using the treatment during hot, humid or thundery weather.
  • Do not mix with other medications, except when combining with NT Labs Koi Care Formaldehyde as directed.

Always follow the product instructions and recommended dosage carefully.

I would recommend this pump

I purchased this pump to replace a Oase AquaMax Eco Premium pump which had stopped working. It came with a nice long cable and the pump looks solidly made. I connected the pipes up connected the power and all went well. The flow of water is comparable to my previous pump, it has been running for a couple of weeks without any issue. Hopefully it will last a good many years. I would certainly recommend this pump, and would highly recommend Swallows Aquatics.
