HabiStat Coir is a reliable, all-natural substrate suitable for a wide range of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. Made from 100% sustainably sourced coconut husks, it provides a soft, burrow-friendly texture that works perfectly in both dry and humid environments.
Coir naturally retains and slowly releases moisture, helping to maintain stable humidity levels, while its high lignin content supports a clean and stable environment.
Our substrates come fully hydrated and ready to use. A deeper layer helps trap essential humidity in the lower levels of the enclosure. For a more naturalistic setup, pair with HabiStat leaf litter.
