The HabiStat Classic Pro Pulse Thermostat offers precise and consistent control for heat sources that don't emit light, such as ceramic heaters and heat cables. Unlike on/off thermostats, this model maintains temperature by delivering rapid pulses of power to the heater, reducing fluctuations in temperature, which improves stability and parameters within the enclosure.
It supports a maximum load of 450 watts, making it suitable for a wide range of setups and heat sources, however the Classic Pro Pulse Thermostat is not suitable for use with light-emitting heat sources or deep heat projectors, as the pulsing action would cause visible flickering and reduce lamp lifespan. For controlling those kinds of lamp, we recommend the HabiStat Classic Pro Dimming Thermostat.
