Pure Aquarium Bomb is a live bacteria product designed for use in all types of filtered freshwater aquariums. It provides rapid nitrification to new, sterile aquariums and filters, making them ready to be safely stocked with fish. It can also be used as the live bacteria source in fishless cycling regimes.
Water Quality Emergencies
Use Pure Aquarium Bomb whenever water tests reveal levels of ammonia or nitrate in established aquariums containing fish. This may be due to beneficial bacteria inside the filter being lost through cleaning media under the tap, replacing mature media with new, or the use of medications. Increased fish numbers, uneaten food and dead, decaying fish can also lead to life threatening increases in ammonia and nitrate.
