Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot-On for Golden Hamsters and Gerbils is an effective, veterinary-strength medicine containing ivermectin to treat lice, flea, mange mite, other mite and roundworm infestations in small animals. This easy-to-use spot-on controls parasites up to four weeks, and is suitable for hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats and guinea pigs weighing 50–300g. For animals weighing more than 300g, use Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot-On for Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Ferrets and Rats. IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE ON RUSSIAN, ROBOROVSKI, CHINESE OR DWARF HAMSTERS, AS THEY USUALLY WEIGHT LESS THAN 50g AND THIS COULD RESULT IN OVERDOSING. We recommend treating all the animals in the cage or hutch at the same time, and treating the environment with a suitable insecticide.

Instructions

ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LABEL AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. Weigh your pet carefully before application and use the following table to give the correct dose. Apply 1 pipette per 50g of body weight This equates to: Gerbils: 1 pipette Syrian hamsters: 2 pipettes For animals weighing more than 300g, use Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot-On for Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Ferrets and Rats. IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE ON RUSSIAN, ROBOROVSKI, CHINESE OR DWARF HAMSTERS, AS THEY USUALLY WEIGHT LESS THAN 50g AND THIS COULD RESULT IN OVERDOSING. 1. Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off. 2. Hold your pet firmly but gently and apply the entire contents of the pipette to the skin at the base of the neck. 3. Squeeze the pipette several times across the skin to empty its contents completely. While squeezing out the contents, spread the solution over as great a surface of the skin as possible. If required, treatment can be repeated after four weeks.
