With total control of an almost unlimited spectrum, TIR lenses, Hyper Drive and an impeccable proven track record for growing corals, it is hard to find ways to improve on this fantastic family of modular LED lights.The spread from this light is perfect for up to 30 x 30 inch aquariums or can be used in multiples on larger systems.

By introducing the HYDRA 64HD,with even more LED’s better colour mixing, wider spread, more colour, more compact, more water resistant, and more refined, all without sacrificing anything that made the 52HD, great.Aquaillumination has always listened to the feedback from hobbyist, retailers and aquaculture facilities. Redesigning the plastics in the Hydra line-up has resulted in two major benefits: greater efficiency and better aesthetics. Efficiency improvements reduce the demands for active cooling resulting in longer component life, and by reducing the profile depth has enhanced the presence of the light over the aquarium.

Water resistance is a major benefit in aquarium lighting - and while the new Hydras are not waterproof, design improvements should make them more resilient to accidental splashing and environmental moisture.

Output in terms of PAR, color mixing and spread are all improved with the new fixtures. The incorporation of more LEDS results in a more complete full spectrum and TIR lenses which shape the light to its most efficient and effective result in both more colour POP as well as a slightly wider output area. LED placement and lens geometry blend the light from the clusters so that colour separation is further reduced.A dedicated moonlight LED and channel has been added in the new Hydra 64HD fixtures. This allows for independent moonlighting programmes that will deliver the desired aesthetic without needing to be a part of your primary schedule or risking over exposure for your livestock.

When HyperdriveTM HD Technology was introduce with the previous generation of AI lights it revolutionised the way that the LED colours could be controlled, bringing more power and colour where you want it for your corals and fishes, plus the freedom to use your smartphone or mobile device as a controller. This unique innovation in aquarium lighting still leads the way and allows you to direct power from the LED colours you have turned down to use with the colours you want to turn up, providing you with access to the maximum power output of your light, regardless of your choice of spectrum and creating the most vivid colours in your tank you have ever seen. By coupling HD technology with the latest TIR colour blending lenses we can direct all of the light into the aquarium, exactly where it is needed, providing optimum PAR with minimal light loss or annoying glare for the observer.

Items must be returned within 30 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unworn/unused, have any tags still attached, and include all the original packaging.
