King British Aquatic Plant Food contains a mix of essential nutrients to encourage the growth of aquatic plants. It does not contain nitrate or phosphate so will not encourage unwanted algae growth.
As live plants reduce nitrate levels, they also help to inhibit algae growth, ensuring your aquarium water stays crystal clear.
Live plants have many advantages over false ones. Most notably, that during the day they photosynthesise thus contributing to the oxygen levels whilst decreasing the carbon dioxide within your aquarium.
