Here at Gravesend we pride ourselves on delivering great service in a relaxed, friendly and exciting environment. The store is staffed by a large team of enthusiastic full and part time staff with experience ranging through every different area of the aquatics field from Tropical Community Fish, African Lake Cichlids and Discus through to Koi, water gardening and other coldwater fish; even the wonders of highly sought-after, colourful Marine fish and invertebrates.
To assist you and your fish as best we can we provide a FREE water testing and advice service ( £2.00 at weekends) which can provide peace of mind as a regular routine to nip developing water chemistry problems in the bud, or to solve any particular issues which you may encounter. Each test provides a one-to-one service and includes a detailed advice sheet which you may take away to keep as a record of your aquarium or pond’s health.
Following a recent extensive refurbishment the store has now returned to its fully-functional state and displays a wealth of dry goods with some more illusive items available to order, complete aquarium set-ups, fish and plants for both the outdoor pond and indoor aquarium. A wide range of books and free information leaflets are also available to inspire and inform everybody from the beginner to the advanced aquarist.
There are aquariums to suit every budget; the popular Aquaworld mini-aquarium and larger 'all-in-one' Cleair setups are a perfect starting point for a long and successful aquarium hobby, these include the majority of the electrical hardware needed to maintain a healthy tank for both tropical fish and coldwater fancy goldfish. This store also offers custom-built Seabray aquariums which can be built to order to meet the specific needs of the individual customer.
