Description

Hydrocotyle variegata is a fast-growing, trailing plant known for its round, coin-shaped leaves splashed with creamy-white variegation. It’s popular for hanging baskets, ground cover, terrariums, and as a spill-over accent in mixed planters.

Plant Details (1L size)

  • Pot size: 1 litre nursery pot

  • Growth habit: Creeping / trailing

  • Height: 5–10 cm tall

  • Spread: Can trail 30–60+ cm

  • Foliage: Green leaves with creamy-white variegation

Light Requirements

  • Bright indirect light for best variegation

  • Tolerates partial shade

  • Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun

Watering

  • Keep soil consistently moist

  • Do not allow to dry out completely

  • Prefers well-draining soil

Climate

  • Best in warm, frost-free conditions

  • Suitable for indoor growing or mild outdoor climates
