The Kockney Koi Yamitsu Air Storm Venturi is a pond aeration accessory designed to increase dissolved oxygen levels in garden and koi ponds. It’s especially popular in koi systems where strong oxygenation supports fish health and biological filtration.
Venturi Effect
Water pumped through the narrowed section of the unit creates a low-pressure area that naturally draws in air. This air mixes with the water stream and returns to the pond as oxygen-rich flow — with no moving parts required.
In-Line Installation
The unit fits directly into your pond’s return pipework (commonly 40 mm pressure pipe). Your existing pond pump provides the force needed to drive the venturi.
Interchangeable Nozzles
It typically comes with two different internal nozzle sizes, allowing you to optimise performance depending on your pump’s flow rate.
Simple Design
Because there are no motors or diaphragms, maintenance is minimal — just occasional cleaning to prevent blockages.
