Taking care of wounded, lost, or abandoned arctic animals the sanctuary can use all the help it gets. Polar bears, arctic foxes, reindeer, snow hares, seals, and even a walrus one year have found there way here. All the animals are cared for, rehabilitated and released back to their natural habitats but a few return form year to year, just to say hello.
