Safeguard:
When servicing your aquarium turn off and disconnect all electrical plugs before putting your hands in the water. We recommend that all aquarium electrical devices should only be connected to power supplies with safety switches fitted.
Warning:
Disconnect power supply to heater 15-20 minutes prior to a water change or removal from water, to allow the heating element adequate time to cool sufficiently.
