SEACHEM PURIGEN 250ML
Seachem Purigen – Premium Aquarium Filtration Media
Seachem Purigen is a premium synthetic filtration media designed to remove soluble and insoluble organic waste from aquarium water. Its highly porous structure provides an exceptionally high capacity for removing organic pollutants, helping to keep aquarium water clean, clear and healthy.
Purigen works by removing nitrogenous organic waste before it has the chance to break down into ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, helping to maintain better water quality. As it becomes exhausted, the media gradually changes colour from its original light colour to dark brown or black, making it easy to see when it needs regenerating.

As the beads darken to brown or black, the Purigen is exhausted and can be regenerated for further use. Follow the manufacturer's regeneration instructions carefully and do not reuse if any chlorine or bleach smell remains.
