Planting -

•  Plant your baskets with aquatic soil. 
• Then apply a layer of shingle or stones on the surface of the soil, allowing an adequate gap for the plant's stem to grow through. 
• The shingle will prevent the soil from leaving the basket and will help weigh down your basket.
